In the dry and remote area of Bamba, Kilifi County, countless families face daily challenges caused by prolonged drought, food insecurity, and limited economic opportunities. With little rainfall throughout the year, many residents struggle to grow crops, access clean water, or earn a sustainable income. For children, these hardships often mean going to school hungry and living without the basic necessities that every child deserves.

At Asante Aid, we believe that every family deserves a chance to live with dignity and hope. Through the generosity of our individual supporters, we recently transformed the lives of one vulnerable family in Bamba.

A New Beginning

What was once a family struggling to survive now has a safe and secure place to call home. Through our support program, we provided:

• A decent shelter for the family
• Educational support for the children
• Goats to help establish a sustainable source of income
• Poultry, including chickens, for food production and household earnings
• A water tank and running tap water for reliable access to clean water

Today, this family is building a brighter future. Their children can remain in school, their livelihood opportunities have improved, and they now enjoy something many in the area still lack: regular access to clean water.
