Through the Homes of Hope program, in partnership with Shelter Equity (USA), lives are being transformed. Each new home is more than bricks and mortar — it is a promise of safety, health, and a brighter future.
Kahindi KarisaAt 73, Kahindi lived alone in a collapsing thatched hut, battling high blood pressure and isolation. Today, he proudly stands in front of his new home, restored with dignity, solar power, clean water, and space for his wife and grandchildren to return.
Karembo Julius KatanaA mother of eight, Karembo’s children once slept outside, her son keeping watch to protect his sisters. When the roof of her new home was mounted, she broke down in tears of joy. Her family now enjoys separate bedrooms, sanitation, solar energy, and clean water.
