Success Story: KADZO KISIGYE

For years, Kadzo Kisigye, a mother in Kilifi, lived in a fragile shelter that left her family exposed to rain, insecurity, and daily hardship. Nights were filled with fear, and her children grew up without the dignity of a safe home.

Her life changed through the Homes of Hope program, in partnership with Shelter Equity (USA). Today, Kadzo’s family enjoys the security and dignity of a proper home. They received: 🏠 A strong, dignified house 🚽 A toilet and bathroom for privacy and sanitation 🔆 Solar installation for clean, reliable energy 🚲 A bicycle for transport and mobility 💧 Access to clean water for health and daily living

The joy on Kadzo’s face when she stepped into her new home is a powerful reminder of what hope looks like. Her children now have a safe environment to grow, study, and dream — a future filled with promise.
