A Brighter Future for Muyu Wakae Primary School From Mud Walls to Modern Classrooms: The Power of Education & Dignity

Muyu Wakae Primary (1 of 4 Blocks constructed)
In the remote outskirts of Malindi, Kenya, Muyu Wakae Primary School stood in dire conditions. The only existing mud-walled building was crumbling, posing serious safety risks to students. Many children had no choice but to study under the shade of trees, exposed to harsh weather and lacking proper learning materials.
When Asante Aid discovered the school’s condition, we knew immediate action was needed. With the community’s support, we built four blocks of modern classrooms—each block containing four fully equipped classrooms. Every classroom was furnished with desks and essential learning materials, creating a safe, comfortable, and inspiring space for young learners. Muyu Wakae Primary School Handing Over Ceremony
